Corinne A. Gregory -  "Putting 'civil' back into 'civilization'."™

Ms. Gregory is the President of The PoliteChild®, based in Bellevue, Washington, and the Founder of the SocialSmarts® program.  This unique and integrated program was born from Corinne’s belief that our children — indeed our society — would benefit strongly from knowing and using the rules and reasons for proper behavior.

After 20 years in the technology and business sectors, Corinne felt that the next phase of her life needed to be spent making the world a better place, especially for our children and for future generations. The PoliteChild was born out of Corinne’s belief that our society needs to return to a more civilized and kind way of interacting with one another.  Instead of simply whining with others about the decline in values and behavior, Corinne decided to do something about it. She developed The PoliteChild – and its SocialSmarts® program – in the hopes of making a difference in the lives of children and families by giving them the tools to help them truly succeed not only in school, but in life: the gift of good social skills, positive character and values.

Corinne is an author, frequent speaker, advisor, and spokesperson on education, business and family-development topics, and her media appearances include The Today Show, CNN, Time Magazine, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Parents Magazine, and more. Besides her previously published technology and business-focused books, she is working on several books related to the SocialSmarts program, parenting, and education reform.

Married with three young daughters, she’s a member of Rotary International, formerly with the Woodinville Rotary, but now part of Redmond Rotary.
